Now you have done it. You're a Commonwealth Games athlete, 12 days out from the start of competition.
You have followed a strict physical program for the last 12 months with the hope of emulating great New Zealand athletic achievements.
Sure, maybe the Comm Games aren't quite what they used to be but a medal is a medal and you have the chance to make history for yourself and your nation.
You arrive in Delhi, travel to the athlete village and open the door to your apartment.
You step in and find workmen have left a welcoming turd in your lounge.
