A cracking first weekend of NRL playoff action. While the NRL system doesn't match up with the AFL (top 4, bottom 4) final 8 model at least the two eliminated teams were not top 4 teams. Goodbye Warriors and Manly.
Two monster semifinals coming up this weekend.
Canberra at home - expect them to be too good for the West Tigers who must be wondering how they lost to the Roosters are such a dominant first half showing. Canberra to win paying $1.50.
Roosters take on the Penrith Panthers in the other weekend clash. They also pay $1.50 and should have too much class for the men from the mountains.
The multi on both suggetsed wins delivers $2.25...worth a lazy punt.
