If Mexico is playing and their fans decide to do a Mexican Wave should this be termed a Mexican Mexican Wave or do the two Mexicans cancel each other out like double integers?

For me its The Wave. As a kid I remember reading about The Wave in an old kiwi music mag called Shake around 86'. The mag printed a story about a Prince concert where people round the stadium were reported as doing this phenomenon with their hands called The Wave. The story went on to say The Wave reached US consciousness thanks to the LA Olympics in 84'.
Interestingly, the "trusted" community at Wikipedia reports The Wave dates back further than 84 to possibly Mexico in the 60s.
So because it's on the Internet it must be true.
